世界花卉产业的发展及展望

花卉产业是一种新兴产业,发展很快,1988年全世界销售总额达到3000亿美元,并以10%的速度递增,年人均消费也逐年增加。全世界花卉出口创汇40亿美元(1987),荷兰占一半。切花保鲜、野生花卉繁育、电子计算机和组织培养等技术广泛应用于花卉生产,取得较大进展,促进了花卉事业的发展。文章提出了发展中国花卉产业的对策。

Development and Tendency of Flower and Plant Industries in the World

Flower and plant industry is a new fast growing industry. The total sales of flowers and plants in the world in 1988 were 300 billion US d?llars, with a rate of annual increase of 10%. The average annual consumption per capita also increases enormously. The total foreign exchange of flowers and plants export was 4 billion US dollars in 1987,and half of it was credited to Holland. At present,a sales system including flower shops, part time flower shops, flower booths and flower pedlers is formed with the full time flower shops as the main sellers. The whole sale and auction play an important role in the flower and plant industry. In countries with a thriving flower and plant industry, the techniques of keeping the cut flowers fresh, breeding of wild flowers and plants, electronic computers and tissue culture are extensively applied with remarkable economic benefits obtained. The paper gives an account of the conditions for developing the flower and plant industry in China and makes some recommendations on it: 1. China is rich in flower resources. 2. There is a technical force with solid theoretical foundation and extraordinary craftsmanship. 3. A flower and plant research system is basically formed. 4. An initial production base is established. 5. Some recommendations are made for developing flowers and plants in China.
