Abstract: | In fifteen out of 17 (88%) radiographically diagnosed cases of osteomyelitis in the dog the lesion contained bacteria, the one most frequently isolated being Staphylococcus aureus. All bacteria isolated were tested to determine their susceptibility to various antimicrobial agents. The results of two methods of measuring susceptibilities, standard disk diffusion and minimal inhibitory concentration, are presented. |
