Abstract:The seeds of Chinese ginseng ( Panax ginseng C.A.Meyer) and American ginseng ( Panax quinquefolium Linne) possess the dormancy characteristics and are difficult for germination. The advances in physical germination accelerating technology for the two kinds of ginseng seeds are summarized in the present paper.
