棉花数量性状育种程序的建立与应用研究

本文以近10年来棉花数量性状遗传研究的新成果为理论基础,吸收了植物育种学、生统遗传学、系统工程学的部分原理和方法,建立了一套“棉花数量性状育种程序”,直接解答了棉花育种中一系列关键技术问题:(1)制定不同育种方案的主攻方向和主攻目标。(2)杂交亲本选配的适宜类型,选配原则和方法。(3)杂种后代不同性状的选择世代,选择强度和选择方式(4)初选品系鉴定、比较试验的设计和统计方法。为棉花丰产、优质、抗病育种提供了新的方法和理论依据。

STUDIES OF ESTABLISHING AND UTILIZING OF QUANTITATIVE CHARACTERS BREEDING PROCEDURE IN COTTON

Based on the latest achievement of quantitave gentical studies in cotton for ten years, and guided by the principles and methods in plant breeding, biometrics, systematical engineering, we set up a series of breecing programs for quantitative traits in cotton, and solved directly some basic theories and some key technological questions in cotton breeding, such as. (1) formulating the main direction and targets for different breeding schedules;(2) determining the favourable type, selection principles and its method, in selecting parents; (3) planning the selection generation, intensity and approach for different characters in progenies; (4) choosing the experimental design and statistics methods of primary lines for the testing and comparative trials, which provided a theoretical guidance and new method for cotton breeding, with higher yielding, good quality and resistance to diseases.
