Error analysis of non-loading elastic extension of cable system.

With the catenary theory as the measuring standard, this paper reported the studies on the approximating degree of various replace methods to the catenary, made a comparison between various replace methods and the catenary on the important parameters, i. e. the error of non-loading elastic extension (Lo) and its statistical parameter, and found out each applicable scopes and precisions of each replace methods.
