| 摘 要： | 英语立法语言在其长期发展的过程中形成了自己独特的语体特征。在英语立法语言中,未使用规范的书面语,古词、外来词的出现频率较高,且大量使用助动词和情态动词,但却很少使用代词和形容词,表意庄严、正式。在句法结构上,多用陈述句和完整句,大量使用长句,表意较完整、周密。

| Abstract: | Legislative English has developed unique characteristics during its long evolution.Normative written words,loan words and words from Old English are frequently used;auxiliaries and modal verbs are often used while pronouns and adjectives are seldom employed,expressing stately and formal connotation.Assertive sentences,complete sentences and long sentences are widely used,expressing thorough and complete meaning. |
