Based on the full and accurate data,this paper has stated the origin of na- tural disease-resistance of domestic animals and its significance in control of contagious disease.It has expounded the mechanism and the genetic con- trol of natural disease-resistance from the angle of immunogenetics and introduced the research methods of natural disease-resistance of domestic animals.In addition,it has as well reviewed the typical examples made by our predecessors in this field,including persistent leukosis in cattle and Brucellosis in cattle,ere.At last it has put forward the breeding methods of natural disease-resistance of domestic animals and looked forward to the future in this research field.
