Abstract:The matrix suction of unsaturated loess was measured with the method of pressure board. The result indicated that the feature curves of moisture content in unsaturated loess could be discribed with power function relation.The water content of attraction and capillary decreased with the increase of the matrix suction, which consisted of attraction and capillary powers.
