中国城市化水平与经济发展水平研究

城市化水平和经济发展水平之间具有很大程度的一致性，各国城市化水平与人均国民生产总值之间呈正向变化关系。城市化会加速产业结构的变化，能促进区域经济的发展。中国的城市化水平较低，滞后于工业化发展水平，城市化进程缓慢。造成这种状况的主要原因是人为控制城市人口的政策以及城市吸收农村人口的能力低下等。运用城市化水平方程对中国城市化水平及其影响因素的分析和预测表明，中国2010年的城市化水平可有达到40％以上。中国应控制人口增长，采取促进城市发展的政策，消除城乡壁垒，全方位转移农村剩余劳动力，加速中国城市化进程，以促进经济和社会的全面发展。

Research on the Relationship Between Urbanization Level and Economic Development of China

There is great consistency between urbanization level and economic developmentlevel. A direct correlation between urbanization level and GNP per capita exists in most of thecountries in the world. Urbanization may accelerate the change of industry structure and pro-mote regional economic deveIopment. The urbanization Ievel of China is relativeIy low and ur-banization process is not so rapid. Compared with industrilization level that of economic de-velopment,urbanization level lagged,which is mainly due to policy of controlling immigra-tion of population in urban areas. The author analyses the Chinese urbanization level and itseffect factors by utilizing equation of urbaniztion level. The result shows that chinese urban-ization level may be more than 40% in 2010. Therefore,China should continue to control itspopulation growth,promote urban economic development,and manage surplus labours fromrural area to urban area as well as accelerating the process of chinese urbanization.
