Abstract:The aim of this study was to study the effects of different forage combinations on forest ecology,growth performance and slaughter performance of chickens.160 local breed chickens were randomly divided into four groups.They were raised separately in four walnut forests,which was divided into four parts and sown according to different grass seed combinations,supplemented with concentrate in the morning and evening,for 28 days.Results:the vegetation coverage recovery of the experimental group was better than control;during the 14~28 days of the experiment,the ADFI of the experimental groups 1 and 3 lower by 9.2%and 10.1%(P<0.05),and the F/C of the groups 1,2 and 3 lower by 8.3%,8.6%and 10.2%(P<0.05);during the whole experiment,the F/C of the groups 2 and 3 lower by 6.3%and 6.9%(P<0.05).In addition,the total evisceration rate and breast muscle rate of the groups 3 were higher by 7.8%and 8.2%(P<0.05),and the leg rate of the 1,2and 3 groups were higher by 9.8%,8.8%and 10.9%(P<0.05).
