Abstract:In order to investigate the effects of different ratio of whole plant soybean and corn stalk on nutrient composition,fermentation quality and energetic value,whole plant soybean and corn stalk were mixed and ensiled at the follwing ratios of 1∶0,2∶1,1∶1,1∶2,0∶1,with 3 replicates per group.The results showed that the mixed silage of whole plant soybean and corn stalk 1∶1 increased the contents of crude protein(CP),ether extract(EE),lysine(Lys),calcium(Ca),the in vitro digestibility of dry matter(IVDMD)by 55.89%,192.10%,107.69%,250.00%and 6.52%(P<0.05)respectively,and significantly reduced the contents of ash,neutral detergent fiber(NDF),acid detergent fiber(ADF),acid detergent ligin(ADL)and water-soluble carbohydrate(WSC)(P<0.05)compared with corn stalk.Compared wih the whole plant soybean,the mixed silage of whole plant soybean and corn stalk 1∶1 significantly increased content of lactic acid(LA)by 34.65%(P<0.05),net energy for lactation(NEL)and net energy for maintenance(NEM)(P<0.05),and significantly reduced the content of acetic acid(AA)and butyric acid(BA),and pH(P<0.05).It was suggested that the 1:1 mixed ratio of whole plant soybean and corn stalk was best for improving fermentation quality and nutrient composition.
