Abstract:In order to study the effects of different levels of compound probiotics on growth performance,slaughter performance and economic benefits of beef cattle.60 beef cattle weighing(200±4)kg were randomly divided into 4 groups,each group had 15 repetitions,and each repetitions had 1 cattle.Group 1 was fed basic diet as control group.Groups 2,3,4 were added with 2.5%,5.0%and 10%compound probiotics respectively for 7 days,and the trial period was 56 days.The results showed that:(1)The average daily gain of groups 3 and 4 was 19.4%and 18.1%higher than that of group 1(P<0.05),the ratio of feed to gain of groups 3 and 4 was 9.6%and 7.2%lower than that of group 1(P<0.05),the average feed intake of groups 2,3 and 4 was higher than that of group 1(P>0.05);(2)The carcass weight and slaughter rate of groups 2,3 and 4 were higher than that of group 1(P>0.05),the live weight and eye muscle area of groups 3 and 4 were 10.3%,9.0%,14.3%,13.9%higher than that of group 1(P>0.05).(3)In groups 2,3 and 4,the cost of gain per kilogram of beef cattle was lower than that of group 1.The cost of feed per kilogram of gain in groups 3 and 4 was decreased by 1.00 yuan and 0.77 yuan respectively.The conclusion indicated that the addition of different levels of compound probiotics could improve the growth performance,slaughter performance and economic benefits of beef cattle,and 5.0%was suitable.
