福建省棒小蜂科一新种描述(膜翅目:小蜂总科)

<正> 棒小蜂(Signiphoridae)是小蜂总科(Chalcidoidea)中一个甚小的科,仅含7个属:Thysanus Walker、Clytina Erdos、Neosigniphora Rust、Kerchiella Rosanov、Signiphora Ashmead、Chartocerus Motschulsky和Rojanouilla Subba Rao,其中Chartocerus属又分为三亚属:Chartocerus S.Str.、Xana Kurdjumov和SigniphorinaNikolskaja(Rojanov,1965;De Santis,1968;Subba Rao,1974)。该科绝大多数的种类为介壳虫、粉虱、木虱和蝇蛹的寄生蜂,常为重寄生。

A DESCRIPTION ON A NEW SPECIES OF THE FAMILY SIGNIPHORIDAE FROM CHINA (HYMENOPTERA:CHALCIDOIDEA)

Not much has been done on the Chinese Signiphoridae.Only one species,Chartocerus(Chartocerus) musciformis Motschulsky (Rozanov, 1965),is so far known from China.In this paper a new species of Sig- niphoridae,Chartocerus(Signiphorina)fujianensis sp.n.is described from Fujian,China(fig.1-6). The present new species is similar to two Indian species,i.e.,Char- tocerus(Signiphorina)fimbriae Hayat and Chartocerus(Signiphorina) in- termedius Hayat of the subgenus Signiphorina.All the three species can be readily distinguished from the other members of the subgenus Signipho- rina by having the marginal fringe of the forewings longer than the ma- ximum width of the forewings by 0.67.The new species differs from the two Indian species in having no small triangular infuscated patch in the hindwings.It resembles intermedius in that the mesopostphrama is as long as scutellum,metanotum and propodeum combined.It resembles fimbriae in that the antennal club in male is 7-8 times longer than the width.However,it differs from both of them in having more stringlike sense spores in the antennal club.The digiti of male genitalia(fig.6) of the present new species is 3.5 times longer than the width,and slen- der in its apical half,whereas that of fimbriae is short and thick,and that of intermedius is 4.5 times longer than the width and apparentely not narrower in its apical half. Holotpye ♀ allotype ♂,Hongtan,Fuzhou,Fujian,13.xi.1983;para- types 8 ♀♀,7♂♂,Hongtan,Fuzhou,Fujjan,3.x.-10.xi.1983. ex Nipaeococcus vastator (Maskell) on citrus. Type materials are deposited in the Biological Control Research Insti- tute,Fujian Agricultural College,Fujian.Type Cat.No.028.
