| Abstract: | The efficiency of data collection is an important factor impacting the timber management quality at log yard. The techniques of PDA(POS) and sound identification are efficient methods to solve this problem. The types, structures and functions of PDA are introduced in this paper. Additionally designing type of POS machine used in timber management and the problems in the application process are also discussed in the paper. |
