Abstract:This paper describes an effect of permeability of cell membrane of rice seed surface by nitrogen ion beam implantation. 0~ 6 × 1016N+/cm2 with 35key was used to treat the husked rice seeds. Electric conductivity was measured by DDS - 11A electric conductivity apparatus. The results showed that the electric conductivity. increased with irradiation intensity. It is due to damage of cell membrane by the sputter of ion implantation. It issuggested that sputter of ion beam can be a new way for foreign gene transfer.
