馆藏结构分析及其优化措施探讨

馆藏建设是图书馆开展各项工作的基础和保障,馆藏质量的高低直接决定图书馆服务质量的高低,决定图书馆的工作水平和整体效益的发挥。以读者外借数据库、馆藏数据库作为统计数据源,对河北农业大学图书馆2004～2006年间的馆藏各类中文图书外借情况进行了统计分析。通过对馆藏图书比例与读者需求比例之间关系的研究,揭示了馆藏文献与读者需求之间的相符程度,并据此提出了优化馆藏结构的具体措施。

Analysis of Library Collection Structure and Discussion on Optimization Measures

Collection construction is the basis and guarantee for library to implement every work. Collection quality level directly determines service quality level in the library and library＇ s work level and the whole benefits. Based the ＂library loan data base＂ and ＂library holding data base＂ of our library, the collection and circulation of the books during the period from 2004 to 2006 were studied. By researching the relationship of library holding structural and reader＇ s requirement, the degree of the course proportion of holding documentary according with the reader＇ s requirement was disclosed, and several measures for the optimization of the structure of our library holdings are proposed.
