| Abstract: | This short communication summarizes the main results of a factorial crossing experiment between French beef breeds: Charolaise, Limousine, Maine-Anjou, for evaluating their calving ability. Both paternal (birth weight and calf morphology) and maternal (calving weight, pelvic opening and maternal effect on calf size) components have been investigated. |
