Widen the space for scientific periodical development with network resources

It is suggested that the main trend for the netization of periodicals is based on the application of new technology of network,the transformation of traditional publishing forms,and the combination of the advantages of these two media technologies.In China today,there are various forms for the netization of scientific periodicals,including periodical website,periodical network,periodical web page and electronic version of periodicals.Every specific scientific periodical should choose the best form for its development according to its own characteristics and realities.As for the popular science periodicals,in the author's view,a model of periodical website-network-electronic version-traditional pager publication is comparatively applicable.For specialized scientific periodicals,the model of periodical web page-network-electronic versiontraditional paper publication is rather reasonable. And a model of periodical web page-electronic version-traditional paper publication is quite suitable for comprehensive scientific periodicals.
