不同青草料对夏季雏鸵鸟饲用效果的研究

为选择适宜的青草料在夏季饲喂雏鸵鸟Struthio camelus,试验选取10日龄雏鸵鸟30只随机分成2组。在相同基础日粮条件下,试验组饲喂苏丹草Sorghum sudanense,对照组饲喂红薯Ipomoea batatas叶,试期28 d。结果表明:试验组平均日增重为60.0 g/只,料肉比为2.829∶1;对照组平均日增重为53.71 g/只,料肉比为3.162∶1。试验组各周增重显著高于对照组(P<0.05);总增重组间差异显著(P<0.05);试验期内,试验组日增重在第2周加速,而对照组在第3周日增重才加速。说明在夏季用苏丹草饲喂雏鸵鸟效果优于红薯叶。

Study on the feeding effect of young Ostriches fed with different fodders in Summer

Thirty 10-day-old young ostriches were randomly allotted into 2 groups-the control and the treatment.The two groups were fed with a same basal diet.Besides,Sudan grass was added into the diet for the treatment and sweet potato leaves was added into the diet for the control.The experiment lasted 28 days.The results showed that: the average daily gain(ADG) and the feed conversion ratio(FCR)of the treatment group were 60 g and 2.829:1;and the value of ADG and FCR in the control group were 53.71 g and 3.162:1;the difference was significant on ADG and FCR between the two groups(P<0.05).During the treatment time,the acceleration of the ADG of ostriches in the treatment group kept high and steady;but that of the control group was low until the third week.One conclusion was made out that feeding young ostriches with Sudan grass was better than that with sweet potato leaves in summer.
