Determination of Structure and Parameters of 2BLZ-2 Ridge-Rolling Precision Seed Drill

The characteristics and structure of a new type of 2BLZ - 2 ridge-rolling precision seed drill which was one of the series of equipment suitable for new tillage system in the semi-arid area were presented. The determination of parameters on main parts was reported in detail. When the seeder sowed seeds on the ridge, two disks coulter ahead of machine were used to cut stubbles or leaves of corn, and increased the seeding precision on the ridge. The depth of drilling was more consistent by using new finder-driver wheel instead of traditional ground-engaging. A little of soil distribution and narrow furrow were brought by the double-disk opener and led to the low soil moisture loss. The adjustable packer was designed, and its pressure could be adjusted by spring according to the soil moisture content. The field experiments showed that criterion of operation of seeder could be fit for agronomy demand.
