中子探测器慢化层的选择

摘    要:在中子探测器中,慢化材料对探测效率有着相当大的影响,因而在众多材料中选出最佳慢化材料,有一定研究意义,故在此选取了五种材料——H2O、D2O、聚乙烯、有机玻璃和石墨,进行MC模拟,通过对模拟结果的分析,得出了结论:聚乙烯与其他几种材料相比,更适合做慢化材料。

Abstract:In the neutron detector, the moderator material for detection efficiency has a very big impact, which in many materials to select the best moderator material, a certain significance, so here are five selected materials ' H2O, D2O, polyethylene, acrylic and graphite, for MC simulations, through the analysis of the simulation results, came to tbe conclusion: Polyethylene compared with other types of materials, more suitable for moderator material.
