Identification and Control of the Common Wheat Ear Diseases

Infection cycle,occurrence regularity and damage symptom of the common wheat ear diseases were intro-duced, such as wheat glume blotch,wheat black glume,wheat loose smut,wheat stinking smut and wheat bacterial spike blight.Moreover, the comprehensive pre-vention measures were proposed on the basis of planting disease -resistant species, strengthening cultivation man-agements to improve disease-resistant a-bility of wheat, and adopting fungicide control as assistant measures. The study provided theoretical basis for improving yield and quality of wheat.
