Abstract:The soil water of Tai Hang mountain's low limestone area has thefollowing characteristics:The water holding capacity is from 24 to 34 perce-nt,which is the middle and higher level.The soil water storage is generallyfrom 53 to 73 percent of the field capacity and keeqs lower regime.The cha-nge rule of the soil water in a year is divided into 4 periops:the coagu-lating and accumulating period,the serous dry qeriod,the accumulatingperiod and the slowly losing period.The model of the grey system GM(0,5)and its fitting equations are based on a 3 years investigation of thedynamic soil processes.The results could be used to quantitatively forecast thechange of the soil water of certain depth according to the meteorological fa-ctor and direct the production of agricult ure and forestry.
