| Abstract: | The study was aimed at the major problems concerning agricultura production and environ- ment degradation in Jingtai desert-oasis region-an irrigated area by the Yellow River in Gansu province.A grain-forage crop rotation scheme(4 years by 4 divisions)was suggested and tested in this study in order te pronote the land productivity and conserve the environment of agriculture in the region.The design of the rotation scheme and the results of the trial of the scheme are presented in this paper. |
