| Abstract: | Described in this paper are the important roles of information, information resource, information technology and information industry in the development of national economy, and the development of information technological industry driven by high-tech. The author proposed that China should quicken the pace of its IT topropel its industrialization process and high-speed and sustainable developmentof its national economy and society in the new historical period. |
