| Abstract: | his paper affirmed the theory of library industry and proposed an idea that in the market economy conduction with Chinese characteristics a library should adopt the model on which a public institution wis run as an enterprise on a commercial basis. The public institution could be managed on the commercial basis while its condition was ripe. |
