| Abstract: | Fate, metabolic ways and products of Benzimidazole fungicides inenvironment are summarized in this paper. Benzimidazole fungicides aredegraded in soil mainly by soil microorganisms. The microbiologicaldegradation of these, fungicides is a slow co-metabolic process. Thepersistance of these fungicides in environment is also due to thephotostability of MBC. Some problems needing further study on thedegradation of the these fungicides in environment are proposed. |
