In order to change the vegetable cultivation mode and improve the vegetable planting benefit in Shiqian county, the paper analyzed the status and problems of vegetable production in Shiqian county, and pointed out that efforts should be made as follows： changing planting concept, strengthening base construction, improving production technology, changing operation model, ensuring product safety, expanding sales market, strengthening policy support. The paper also put forward that we could promote the development of vegetable industry in Shiqian county by making full use of the local advantages, introducing the strong vegetable production and processing enterprises and encouraging the leading enterprises and professional cooperative organizations taking part in vegetable production and process.
