宣城：“四大”举措助推“创森”

为了让历史文化名城的宣城再得一张靓丽的名片，2012年12月，市委、市政府作出了创建国家森林城市的决定，并结合山水人文特色，在广泛征集民意的基础上，形成了“山峦叠翠皖东南，水墨诗韵新宣城”的创森主题。本文从规划引领、增绿提质；城乡统筹、整体推进；弘扬生态文化、提升城市品质；生态民生、齐抓共进等方面对宣城市的创森工作进行了阐述。

4 Key Measures to Promote Building Xuancheng into a Forest City

In order to get another flamboyant name card for Xuancheng, a famous historic cultural city, the decision to build Xuancheng into a national forest city was made by the municipal Party committee and government. The characteristics of its natural landscape and culture together with the public opinions widely collected were concentrated and extracted to form the theme for building a forest city： Green Mountain Range in Southeast Anhui, New Xuancheng like Chinese Painting Full of Poetic Rhyme. In this paper the efforts for building Xuancheng into a national forest city were elaborated from the aspects of planning guidance, green growth and quality improvement, balanced urban and rural development, overall advance, promotion of ecological culture, city quality improvement, ecological livelihood, concerted efforts and mutual progress.
