| 摘 要： | 红点唇瓢虫是蚧类天敌。分布23个省、市。可捕食5科27种蚧虫,幼虫日捕食日本蜡蚧1～2龄若虫199.3头,成虫捕食224～331头。一生共捕食31617头。由于觅食能力和繁殖能力较强,能够建立比较稳定的种群,对桑白盾蚧、卫矛矢尖盾蚧、柑桔绵蚧和日本蜡蚧等4种蚧虫,进行6次田间释放和保护利用试验,效果94％以上。

| Abstract: | The lady bird beetle, Chilocorus kuwanas Silvestri, is a polyphagoua and effective predator of coccida. It is widely distributed in China. The beetle preys on five families and 23 species of coccids. The bionomics of thia predator ia reported in this paper. Average daily consumption rate of the larvae and adulta of C. kuwanae on Ceroplaates Japonicus was found to be 199/predator and 331/predator, respectively. During ita entire life apan, a predator could consume 311,617 nymphs of the scales. The beetle was found to be able to build up its population easily in the field on various species of scales, especially Pseudaulacaapis pentagona Tarh and Unaapid euonymi (Comst.). |
