Abstract: | Megaesophagus, hypercalcemia, and eosinophilia associated with glucocorticoid deficiency were detected in a 5-year-old neutered female Standard Poodle with concurrent hypothyroidism. Clinical and biochemical abnormalities resolved with glucocorticoid replacement treatment, and the dog was normal 29 months after diagnosis. The dog's breed and sex and the existence of a second endocrinopathy supported an underlying immunologic disorder. |
