| Abstract: | This paper introduced a design and contruction case for a base pit support system for a MDF factory in Hainan Province. Since the base pit was just nearby an old brick building, the shoring system was important to safeguard both the pit and the old building. The problems the (author)encountered during the design and construction were analyzed in this paper. Practices showed that the final design developed was successful and economical and provided practical (experiences)for similar projects. |
