Industrial ecologicalization in Yichun City based on circular economy

With the transition of planned economy to a market economy in China and the deterioration of global environment, the economic development mode in forestry resources-based cities cannot meet the demand of national economic development. Ecological reform of industries in these cities is much needed to protect social environment, ecological environment and to maintain sustainable development of economy. This paper introduces the practical experience of industrial ecologicalization in Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, analyses the problems in the process of industrial ecologicalization according to its status of resources and industry development. Countermeasures for intensifying the industrial ecologicalization in Yichun are suggested from the aspect of circular economy to give theoretical reference for practice and provide available suggestions for industrial transition in forestry resources-based cities.
