Abstract:The experiment was to study the effect of some natural herbs which were homologous to medicine and food listed in’Feed Raw Materials Catalogue’on disease resistance,growth promotion,anti-oxidation and immunity improvement of goats.Two trials were carried out in the research.In the first test,100 healthy goats were selected and randomly divided into five groups,with five replicates in each group and four goats in each replicate.The goats in control group were fed with a basic diet,the test groups were supplemented with different Chinese herbal medicine compounds at2%.The pre-test was 20 d,and the formal period was 60 d.The first test results showed that the average daily gain and feed intake in test groups were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05),the feed to gain ratio was significantly reduced(P<0.05).Before immunization,the WBC in test group had a tendency to increase(P>0.05).After immunization,the WBC in all the test groups were significantly lower than control group(P<0.05),the HGB and MCHC in test groups were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Before immunization,the content of IgM,IL-2,C3 and PPRV-Ab in test group 1~3 were extremely lower than those in test group 4 and control group(P<0.01).After immunization,the content of Ig G and IL-2 in control group were significantly lower than all the test groups(P<0.05),the content of C3 in control group was significantly lower than that in test group 2 and test group 3(P<0.05),and the content of PPRV-Ab in test group 1 was significantly lower than that in test group 2(P<0.05).Before immunization,the activity of SOD and GSH-Px in test group 1~3 were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).After immunization,the activity of SOD in test group 2~4 was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).In the second test,60 healthy goats were randomly divided into four groups,with five replicates in each group and three goats in each replicate.The goats in control group were fed with a basic diet,and the test groups were added 1%,2%and 3%of the target Chinese herbal medicine compound 2 screened out in the first test.The pre-test was 10 d,and the formal period was 40 d..The second test results showed that compared with control group,the WBC in test groups had a downward trend(P>0.05).The content of Ig M and PPRV-Ab in the test groups were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The activity of SOD and GSH-Px in test group 2 were significantly lower than those in the other groups(P<0.05).The experiment indicates that Chinese herbal medicine compound 2 has the best effect when feeding goats,and the recommended dosage is 2%.
