Abstract:The experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of non-starch polysaccharide enzymes on growth performance, apparent nutrient digestibility and intestinal health of Guangxi Sanhuang chickens that fed a wheat-palm meal diet. A total of 360 nine-week-old Guangxi Sanhuang chickens(half in male and famale) were selected and randomly divided into three groups, with three replicates in each group and 40 chickens in each replicate. Chickens in control group were fed with a basal diet, and chickens in experimental group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ were fed with basal diet supplemented with 0.01% xylanase, 0.01% xylanase + 0.01% β-mannanase, respectively. The results showed that compare with control group, adding xylanase and β-mannanase in wheat-palm meal type diet significantly increased daily gain and daily feed intake(P<0.05), significantly decreased feed to gain ratio(P<0.05), significantly increased the apparent digestibility of dietary energy, crude protein, nitrogen free extract, dry matter and ether extract(P<0.05), significantly decreased the viscosity of chyme in the whole intestine and the content of Escherichia coli in cecum(P<0.05), and significantly increased the content of Lactobacillus(P<0.05). The study indicates that adding 0.01% xylanase or 0.01%xylanase + 0.01% β-mannanase in wheat-palm meal diet of Guangxi Sanhuang chickens can improve nutrient apparent digestibility, growth performance and intestinal health.
