| Abstract: | The ant is a kind of social insect which is a type of wide distribution,the most of quantity and species insect,and it is also a kind of edible and medical resources insect.This paper reviewed the research progresses on ants of China from the aspects of monograph distribution,biological characteristics,morphology,ecological application,molecular cell biology,edible and medical utilization etc.Some suggestions for the development of ant resources are proposed. |
