茶毛虫的种群生命表

Life tables of tea caterpillar population

The factors including predation, parasitism and others were used to develop life tables of the different generations of tea caterpillar ( Euproctis pseudoconspersa Strand) natural population, and the method of index of population control ( IPC ) was used to analyse the roles of different factors to control the natural population, IPC of these factors on the first till forth generations of tea caterpillar were 4.2065, 3.2345, 1.4324; 7.8008, 4.4627, 3.2125; 6.3210, 4.7019, 3.6235; 3.9457, 3.7858, 1.3600, respectively. Natural enemies were the major factors, and the role of predation was more significant than that of parasitism. Effects of temperature on tea caterpillar population investigated in laboratory showed that the correlations of temperature to egg hatching rate, the survival rates of larvae, pupae and adult preoviposition, and fecundity were quadratic curves, and their equations were Y=-295.5115+31.0254X-0.6254X 2 , Y=-122.3601+18.3900X-0.4060X 2 , Y=-126.3515+ 14.8634X -0.3114X 2 , Y=-94.3829+16.5889X-0.3809X 2 , Y=-593.4288+66.3086X-1.3886X 2 , respectively.
