Discussion on the Management and Utilization of Reference Books in the Reading Rooms

This paper has discussed ways to build a comfortable and elegant reading environment as well as a harmonious humanity environment for reference books in the reading room, pointed out that reference books in a library should be shelved in a scientific and applicable manner, set up designation cards, classification boxes and a bibliographic inquiry system, worked out a guide to the books, so as to strengthen the management of those rooms. The paper has pointed out that librarians in charge of the reading rooms should conscientiously do the work of the reading rooms for the reference readers.
