| Abstract: | Several techniques for monitoring and forecasting Ips subelongatus Motschulsky, with support of information system for controlling and managing the main forest disease and pests in Jilin Province, were introduced in the paper. The techniques of hazard grades dividing, development rate forecasting, effective population base forecasting and vestige check forecasting were included. |
