优质大粒水稻新品种“云香糯1号”的选育

 利用云南高杆大穗大粒香糯品种“毫糯干相”与“IR₂₉”糯稻品种杂交育成了中矮杆、优质、大粒、香味农郁的水稻新品种——云香糯1号。1988年止,先后在云南累计种植5万余亩,并在长江流域以南10个省区引种试种。该品种株型好、产量高、米质优、抗病力强。其育成表明,中矮杆、大穗、大粒、质优、抗病等性状也可结合在1个品种内;同时表明,大粒(千粒重40g)品种其米质并非都差;并证实了云南高秆大穗大粒稻种资源在水稻高产育种中同样具有重要价值。

Breeding of Yunxiannuo No. Ⅰ——A Superior Cultivar of Big Grain Rice

A new rice cultivar Yunxiannuo No. I with medium short stalk, big spike, big grain and thick flavor has been bred by a cross between Haonuogang, a cultivar of tall stalk, big spike and big grain, and IR_(29) a sweetrice.This new cultivar had been expanded to 50 000 more Mus, and it was introduced by the southern ten provinces of Yantze Valley for field experiment.The new cultivar is good in many characteristics including a fair plant-figure,high yield,superior rice quality and,a strong disease resistance.Breeding showed that many characteristics of rice such as the medium short stalk, big spike, big grain, superior rice quality as well as disease resistance can also be combined with a cultivar, and those varieties of big grain (40g / 1000 grains ) hasn't displayed so bad in rice quality.Furthermore,the rice resource of tall stalk,big spike and big grain from Yunnan is also valuable for breeding of highly yielded rice.
