Abstract:Image mosaic is widely used in astronomical image processing,daily photo expansion and large image acquisition.It is an important symbol of the development of geography,humanities and science&technology.In this paper,based on digital image,Canny algorithm is used for edge detection.Through image preprocessing(denoising,edge extraction,histogram processing),image registration,transformation model establishing,unified coordinate transformation,reconstruction and fusion,the two gray-scale images are stitched in Matlab platform.
