Abstract:This paper takes gasoline engine as the research object,the EXCITE Timing Drive software was used for modeling through experiments and simulation analysis of different intake CAM profile under Miller cycle,Otto cycle and Atkinson cycle.Based on the comparison and analysis of the calculated results,it is concluded that the contact time between atkinson cycle CAM and follower is the longest,the maximum value of Miller cycle CAM arm is the smallest,and the maximum value of Otto cycle CAM and Atkinson cycle CAM arm is equivalent.By comparing with the measured results,it is found that the friction torque of the three kinds of cams decreases as a whole with the increase of rotating speed,which is of great guiding significance for the design and development of the CAM line.
