| Abstract: | It is only known that a species of moss called Erythrodontium
leptothallum(C.Muell.)Nag.which is also called Eurohypnum leptothallum(C.Muell.)Ando.is
thewinter host of Du-ensiform gall aphid,Kaburagia rhusicola Takagi.Six species of newly
dis-covered winter hosts of the aphid are reported in this paper.they are Brachythecium
pop-uleum( Hedw.).S.G.,. albicans(Hedw.)B.S.G.,B yokohamae(Broth.)Broth.,Entodon
