| Abstract: | Ten isolates of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.lycopersici collected from 8 regions ofShandong Province and Chongqing of Sichuan Province were tested on the near isogemicline cultivars Improved Pearson(IP)(Susceptible to race 1)and Pearson VF-11(VF-11)(resistant to race 1 and susceptible to race 2)by methods of inoculating soil and plant root.The results showed that IP was susceptible to all tested isolates and VF-11 resistant.All iso-lates are suggested to belong to Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.lyeopersici race 1.This is thefirst record in China.The characteristics of race 1 are also described. |
