The dynamic modeling approach considers the prawn population in a pond as a system where the number of prawn at any given time can be estimated when the relationship between survival and growth can be determined. Compared with existing statistical inference models, this approach allows for “forward estimation” in which future populations can be estimated. This feature is useful in production management. |
