| Abstract: | Taboo,which exisits in almost every field of daily life,is a kind of very common phenomenon.Every language in the world possesses its own taboos that play an important role in communication and reflect the social values of its societ.The article compared the differences and similarites of language taboos between English and Chinese through studying the history of taboo language so that people can communicate properly in daily life. |
