乡土植物在园林中对生物多样性保护的作用

城市的发展导致了大面积土地利用方式的改变,引起的直接后果是生物多样性的丧失。解决这一矛盾的方法之一是在园林绿化中较多地应用乡土植物。乡土植物作为大自然长期进化的结果,能为当地物种的保护提供更多的栖息地和食物资源,对生物多样性保护具有重要意义。文章从园林绿化发展的背景出发,提出应用乡土植物的必然性,并介绍了它在提高植物与动物多样性方面的贡献。同时以广州园林绿化作为案例诠释理论,并提出在保护生物多样性方面应做的工作,以及在园林绿化中乡土植物的配置。

The Effect of Native Plants in Urban Gardening on Protecting Biodiversity

The thriving urban gardening industries changed the methods of land use,which directly caused the decrease of biodiversity.The answers of this paradoxical problem were that urban gardening will be applied native plants resulted from a long history evolution,which could provide more optimized habitats and food resources to ensure the biodiversity in local environment.Based on the developing background of urban gardening,this article found the inevitable trend of applying native plant in urban gardening.The native plants of urban landscape play an important role in promoting the plant and animal diversity.Moreover,a case happened in Guangzhou was put forward to practice the theory.Furthermore,configuration of native plant in greening and other works would be done to protect the biodiversity.
