金花茶杂交育种初报

摘    要:对1982—1984年金花茶(Camellia chrysantha(Hu)Tuyama)杂交试验的结果分析认为,不论处理组合、气候、父本和母本的亲和力,授粉的适宜时期或母本的结实能力,都能影响杂交的结果率。实验表明,采用蒙导花粉克服远缘杂交不孕最有效,授粉及授粉后如能维持温度13—20℃,月雨量50mm以下,座果最多。

Abstract:From 1982 to 1984 we utilized as a mother plant and hybridized it with other Camellia species and their cultivars for obtaining new yellow flowered cultivars. In order to overcome sterility of distant hybridization, we tested different measures and considered how to utilize favorable factors. Results of the experiment show that cross-combinations treated with some special processes, utilizing favorable climatic conditions, assuring compatibility between parents, testing during the desirable period of pollination and considering the high setting ability of the mother plant are all the factors which are beneficial to assure higher percentage of setting in hybridization. Pollen mentor is found to be effective in overcoming sterility in distant hybridization. During and after the period of cross pollination if the air temperature maintains between 13-20℃, and the rainfall not more than 50mm, fruit setting percentage will be the highest.
