| Abstract: | Three tannin fractions including ether extract (1), ethyl acetate extract (2) and water extract (3) from the sacetone-soluble materials of Picea likiangensis bark were used for determinations of number average molecular weight (Mn) and tanning power. Results show that the Mn of (1), (2) and (3) is 350. 860 and 1550, respectively. The order of penetration rate is (1)>(2)>(3), and that of shringkage temperature is (3)>(2)>(1). The results of tanning power agree with Mn of (1), (2) and (3). |
