| Abstract: | Saponins are steroid or triterpenoid glycosides, common in a large number of plants and plant products that are important for human and animal nutrition. The properties of saponins including membrane-permeabilising, immunostimulant, anticarcinogenic. This paper focused on the effect of saponins on growth, feed intake and reproduction in animals and their effect on rumen protozoa. |
